EMPLOYMENT

Standard Crane & Hoist LLC  is searching for an experienced overhead crane professional to become the Branch Manager for our flagship location in Destrehan, Louisiana. And please note that there is a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus available to qualified applicants.

The ideal candidate will be skilled and experienced in managing a staff of crane service technicians as well as providing the office leadership to support outside sales, job planning, personnel management, and customer service issues. The successful candidate will be a hands-on manager that is committed to the success and growth of our customer base and employee group. The ideal candidate for Branch Manager will have significant overhead crane experience with knowledge of installations, inspections, maintenance and repair services.

Successful Branch Manager will:

  • Be a hands-on manager that is committed to the success and growth of our customer base and employee group.
  • have significant overhead crane experience with knowledge of installations, inspections, maintenance and repair services.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain a top-tier group of overhead crane technicians.
  • Work with the experienced sales staff to manage the relationships with key customers.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations to customers regarding repairs, preventative maintenance, and reliability goals by providing expertise in identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; and recommending system improvements.
  • Ensure that the highest quality of safety and service is provided.
  • Build and maintain customer confidence and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a professional image in all areas.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • 3-5 years of industrial overhead crane operational management experience.
  • 2 years of proven experience managing industrial field service personnel.
  • Associates Degree or higher preferred, but not required.
  • Standard Crane is the largest overhead crane and hoist manufacturing, sales and service company in the state of Louisiana.
  • Standard Crane has fully stocked warehouses, service centers, and sales offices located throughout the region.
  • Standard Crane supports over 100 nationally recognized hoist & crane brands.
  • Standard Crane pays extremely competitive rates industry wide. Salary level for this job will be based on the applicant’s knowledge and ability. Standard Crane offers a very generous employee benefits package.
  • Standard Crane will pay a Sign-On Bonus and will pay moving expenses (if applicable) to the successful applicant for this job.
